Panelists will discuss health reform at Fittest Execs program

BizTimes Media, in partnership with the Wisconsin Athletic Club, Midland Health, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and the Wellness Council of Wisconsin will present the annual Fittest Execs Forum and Awards event. Honoring the participants from the fourth annual Fittest Execs competition, the 2010 Fittest Execs Forum and Awards event will be held Thursday, Aug. 19, at 4 p.m. at the Harley-Davidson Museum, 400 W. Canal St., Milwaukee.

The event will include a panel discussion featuring leaders in health and wellness in southeastern Wisconsin. The panelists will discuss how their organization has implemented wellness programs, the return on investment of implementing a program in your organization and will talk about how their efforts relate to federal health care reform.

The panelists at the program will be:

  • David Carpenter, president of Chr. Hansen Inc., Milwaukee.
  • Bill LaMacchia Jr., president of The Mark Travel Corp., Bayside
  • Larry Schreiber, president and general manager of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Wisconsin.
  • Mary Starr, president of The Starr Group, Greenfield

Registration for the event will begin at 4 p.m. The winners of both the individual competition, most improved and team competition will be honored during the awards program, which will begin at 4:30 p.m. Networking and hors d’oeuvres will follow at 6 p.m.
