Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin announces new board members
The National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin recently announced the members of its 2011-2012 board of directors. “The National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin has benefitted from the diverse experience and unwavering commitment of its board members,” said Cindy Huber, chief executive officer, National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin.  “We are thrilled that such a talented group of professionals has agreed to volunteer their time to help lead our organization over the next year.” Members of the newly –elected board of directors include: Joanne MacInnes, owner of Promote Donation, LLC; Michael Milsted, vice president of client services at Right Management; Pat Staaden, vice president at MRA-The Management Association; Evelyn Brown, JD, CPA, attorney and partner at Dewitt, Ross & Stevens; Bevan Baker, commissioner of health at City of Milwaukee; George Blomgren, director of business systems at MRA-The Management Association; Mary Braband, senior sales consulting manager at ORACLE; Sylvia Forbes, MSN, RN, CSM, program manager of student affairs at UW-Milwaukee School of Nursing; Philip Koutnik, attorney at Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C.; Maureen Kwiecinski of Blood Center of Wisconsin; Dr. John  Raymond, Sr., president and chief executive officer of the Medical College of Wisconsin; Dr. Lisa Rich, medical director of DaVita Inc.; and Lori Richards, vice president of Mueller Communications.

First Stage adds staff members
Milwaukee-based First Stage has added Katie Weeks to the organization as development director.  Prior to joining First Stage, Weeks served as the vice president of development for the United Performing Arts Fund where she helped oversee the $9-10 million dollar annual campaign in support of the Milwaukee performing arts community.  The First Stage production department also recently added Robb Bessey in the position of technical director.  Bessey joins First Stage after three years as the technical director of the Milwaukee Repertory Theater.   Bessey has over 25 years experience building and supervising construction of scenery for theatre, corporate meetings, fashion shows, displays and trade shows.  First Stage Theater Academy announces the addition of Katie Cummings as school year academy director.  Prior to joining First Stage Cummings held the position of development and donor services manager with the Greater Milwaukee Foundation.   Cummings directed First Stage Theater Academy’s Young Company production of “Little Women” earlier this year.
