Needed items include books bags, backpacks, pencils bags and boxes, glue sticks, crayons, colored pencils, No. 2 pencils, spiral notebooks, pocket folders, notebook paper, graph papers, and calculators among other school supplies. *Friday, Sept. 6, the sixth annual Ozaukee Autumn Golf Open will take place at the Mee-Kwon Park Golf Course, located at 6333 W. Bonniwell Rd. in Mequon. The charity golf event, a four-person scramble, will benefit Ozaukee Family Services’ Coordinated Services Teams and the Criminal Justice Collaborating Council. The golf outing starts at 1 p.m. with registration beginning at 11:30 a.m. A raffle, silent auction and dinner event will follow the golf outing. Cost is $100 for 18 holes of golf, a cart, prizes, lunch, dinner and dessert. Individuals interested in attending the dinner and silent auction only can register for $30. *Wednesday, Sept. 11, Refashion for Life Charity Fashion Show will raise funds for CommonGround Ministry and Elena’s House in Wauwatosa. The sixth annual charity event will feature a show of fall and winter fashions in addition to a number of home improvement and remodeling products. The event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Callen Construction’s Muskego Showroom and company grounds, located at S63 W13131 Janesville Rd. Participating clothing retailers include Boutique Larrieux, Goldi, Lela, Luci, Mode, and Urban Laundry. The event will also include a voice and silent auction, food from Saz’s Catering, and live music. Tickets cost $40 and can be purchased at www.refashionforlife.com.
