*Tuesday, July 16, the Nonprofit Center of Greater Milwaukee will hold a free nonprofit legal clinic at which attorneys will assist area nonprofit organizations with filings, fundraising registration, updates to bylaws, contracts and negotiation, employment law, property tax exemptions, and copyright and trademark protection among other nonprofit-related matters. *Wednesday, July 17, BoardStar Inc. and the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) Greater Milwaukee Chapter are collaborating to host a free social seminar featuring a discussion on “both sides of the boardroom.” A panel of young professionals and nonprofit leaders will offer attendees advice on connecting with nonprofits in need of board members and will also touch on what nonprofits look for in young professional board directors. *Saturday, July 20, the Layton Boulevard West Neighborhood will celebrate the opening of Three Bridges Park, a 24-acre park located in Menomonee Valley between the 27th Street and 35th Street Viaducts. The family-friendly event will include bike rides, fishing, kayak and canoe demonstrations, onsite food trucks and live music performed by De La Buena.
