*Friday, Dec. 12, the Milwaukee Art Museum will host a free holiday concert by St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy. The brief concert will feature Christmas carols performed by the academy. The event will be held from 1:15 to 1:30 p.m. in the museum’s Windhover Hall. The museum is located at 700 N. Art Museum Drive in Milwaukee. For more information, click here

*Friday, Dec. 12, the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Greater Milwaukee Chapter will hold a holiday party at Koz’s Mini Bowl. The event will feature free pizza and free bowling. The party will run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. The party is free for YNPN Milwaukee members and costs $5 for non-members. Koz’s Mini Bowl is located at 2078 S. 7th St. in Milwaukee. *Saturday, Dec. 13, Layton Boulevard West Neighbors Inc. will welcome Santa Claus to Silver City. Santa will walk throughout the neighborhood and will also be available for free family photos taken by a professional photographer. Additional holiday activities scheduled include free crafts, music and hot chocolate. The festivities will run from noon to 5 p.m. and will be based at 3427 W. *Saturday, Dec. 13, the Milwaukee Children’s Choir and the Milwaukee Handbell Ensemble will present “An Evening of Readings & Carols.” The performance will feature a variety of holiday songs and readings. The event is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Cathedral Church of All Saints, located at 818 E. Juneau Ave. in Milwaukee. Premium tickets cost $20, and general admission costs $15. *Saturday, Dec. 13, and Sunday, Dec. 14, the Milwaukee Ballet will launch its annual holiday productions of “The Nutcracker” at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, located at 929 N. Water St. in Milwaukee. The family-friendly performances of the famous ballet run two hours. Performances are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. *Tuesday, Dec. 16, the Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation will hold an information session on “What Can WWBIC Do For You?” The free event will acquaint attendees with the organization’s resources and services for small businesses, such as business and financial education classes and access to capital for business growth.
