*Saturday, Aug. 15, the Milwaukee Art Museum will host “Yoga @ the Museum.” The monthly yoga session caters to yoga enthusiasts at all levels. The event is presented by the museum in partnership with omTown Yogis. The session is scheduled to run from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. in Windhover Hall of the museum, 700 N. Art Museum Drive in Milwaukee. Advance registration ends at 5 p.m. on Friday. Walk-ins will be accepted, pending adequate space. Attendees should plan to bring their own mat and consider making a donation at the event to benefit the museum and omTown Yogis’ Annual Grant Fund. *Thursday, Aug. 20, the Nonprofit Center of Milwaukee will offer area organizations a free overview of its volunteer center services and help sessions navigating the volunteer center website, www.VolunteerMilwaukee.org. [HYPERLINK] Attendees will be able to learn about the Nonprofit Center’s array of volunteer services and get personalized help with its website, which allows organizations to post volunteer opportunities to the broader community. The overview will cater to nonprofit coordinators new to their agency, new users of the volunteer services and nonprofit veterans who need to be updated. Advance appointments for individual help with the website are required. Forty-five-minute appointments will be available between 2 and 4 p.m. at the Nonprofit Center, located at 2819 W. *Thursday, Aug. 20, East Town Association will feature more live music through its “Jazz in the Park” concert series. The free outdoor concert series, presented by Boston Store and Columbia St. Mary’s, brings live jazz to Cathedral Square in downtown Milwaukee. Concerts are held each Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. The music kicks off at 6 p.m. with a happy hour scheduled for 5 p.m. The next event will showcase “Jose Valdes & the Mambo Allstars,” a group well versed in salsa, merengue, cumbia, cha-cha and boleros. “Jazz in the Park” runs through Thursday, Sept. 3. *Tuesday, Sept. 1, the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network Greater Milwaukee Chapter will hold its bi-monthly Nonprofit Resource Exchange at Teach for America, located at 700 W. Virginia, Suite 610, in Milwaukee. The event presents nonprofit representatives a forum to discuss industry best practices and workplace challenges as well as brainstorm solutions for those challenges.
