Newsmaker Luncheon to feature Republican Senate candidates

While Wisconsin waits for former Gov. Tommy Thompson to decide if he will enter the race for U.S. Senate, the “other” two Republican candidates will be featured in the Milwaukee Press Club’s next Newsmaker Luncheon.
Candidates Terrence Wall and Dave Westlake will discuss their priorities in the primary race to determine the challenger to Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold at the event, which will be held Wednesday, March 24.
Wall, a Madison commercial real estate developer, is the founder of T. Wall Properties. Wall also is the founder of DaneVest Tech Fund, a capital fund that invests in and assists Wisconsin-based, early-stage technology businesses run by entrepreneurs who need help growing their companies.
Westlake, a U.S. Army veteran, is the owner of High IQ, a small business in Watertown that sells high-quality printer cartridges to businesses all around the country.
The candidates will be interviewed by a panel of journalists. The Newsmaker Luncheon will be held at the Newsroom Pub in downtown Milwaukee. The public is invited to attend. For additional information, visit www.milwaukeepressclub.org.
