The MMAC and its Council of Small Business Executives (COSBE) are proud to be celebrating 25 years of the Future 50 program this year. While much has changed in our economy and our community during that time, recognizing our fast-growing, local companies is as important – if not more – than ever.

Exporters dominate Future 50 list
The list of the 2012 Future 50 fastest-growing companies in the Milwaukee area underscores the importance of the manufacturing sector on the local economy, as 17 manufacturers are on the list. All but eight of the 2012 winners (84 percent) export at least some of their goods or services outside of the Milwaukee region, with many exporting internationally.
