New vendors and food items on deck for Summerfest

Lobster corn dogs, anyone?

Four new vendors and a variety of new menu items will join the ranks at Summerfest this year.

Chubby’s Cheesesteaks is a new vendor at the Marcus Amphitheater Forecourt, with menu items including Philly Nachos and 4 Cheese Cheesesteak.

In the Ethnic Village, Divino is a newcomer focusing on Italian food, from chicken alfredo to fried calamari. Also joining the ethnic village is Lakeside Supper Club, a mobile version of the Oconomowoc restaurant serving items like lobster corn dogs and loaded milk shakes.

And near the Harley-Davidson Roadhouse, new vendor Uncle Jeff’s Kettle Corn will dish out the treat.

Existing vendors are also adding new food items this year, including Sriracha chicken tacos at Vagabond, donut cupcakes at Classy Girl Cupcakes, a mac bottom pizza at Solo, a deep fried old fashioned at Trinity Three Irish Pubs and buffalo chicken eggrolls at AJ Bombers. Beverage vendors will also have new selections, including Leinenkugel’s BeerGarten Tart and Henry’s Hard Soda at the Miller Lite Oasis.

The annual music festival on Milwaukee’s lakefront, run by Milwaukee-based nonprofit Milwaukee World Festival Inc., attracts about 850,000 attendees each year. It runs from June 29 to July 3 and July 5 to July 10 from noon to midnight. The full list of food vendors and menus is available here.
