New industrial building planned in Pewaukee for Safelite AutoGlass

Safelite AutoGlass would occupy a new 40,468-square-foot industrial building that Brookfield-based 2000 Development Corp. plans to build in Pewaukee.

The building is planned for a 3.4-acre vacant site at W238 N1650 Rockwood Drive, at the corner of Rockwood and Busse Drive. Milwaukee-based Korb & Associates is the architect for the project.

Columbus, Ohio-based Safelite AutoGlass claims to be the nation’s largest provider of vehicle glass repair and replacement services with 5,000 MobileGlassShops and company stores in all 50 states.

Safelite AutoGlass has three locations in southeastern Wisconsin, including one in Pewaukee at N27 W23921 Paul Road. The other two area locations are in West Bend and West Allis.

Safelite AutoGlass plans to move its Pewaukee location to the proposed new building said Brandon Bergman, president of 2000 Development Corp. Safelite will use the building as an auto glass service center and for warehousing and distribution, Bergman said.
