Robert Topp, associate dean for research at Marquette University, was one of 18 health care professionals appointed to Performance Health Academy’s 2015 Scientific Advisory Committee. The committee represents five countries and expertise in physical therapy, chiropractic, exercise science, athletic training and massage therapy. Personal injury law firm Hupy and Abraham S.C. has hired two new attorneys: Thomas Kyle and Terese Halfmann. Kyle is a former partner at Milwaukee-based Pitman, Kyle, Sicula & Dentice S.C. Halfmann, who is also a registered nurse, was an associate attorney at PKSD. She has represented the interests of personal injury clients, especially victims of negligent nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Hupy and Abraham, which was founded in Milwaukee and has 11 offices in Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa, is currently expanding its nursing home and abuse cases practice area. The firm will be representing more families whose loved ones have been injured by the actions, or inactions, of nursing home staff.
