Milwaukee organizations host first traveling tweetup

Organizations:

Blackline Limousines has partnered with Corporate Identity Solutions’ TweetUp Girls and Mind Spike Design to host the city’s first traveling Tweetup on Wednesday, Nov. 10 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Blackline Limousine will provide two limo buses for tweet up guests to travel between Tweetup destinations. Stubby’s Pub and Grill and Rustico Pizza will provide complimentary food and appetizers at their locations for the event.
“We really wanted to introduce Blackline Limousines and its owners Mike and Kathy Skempt, to the community,” said Michelle D’Attillio, co-founder of Corporate Identity Solutions. “It occurred to us that the best thing for them would be to actually have the guests ride in the limousines and so to introduce them to the twitter community here in Milwaukee we decided to host the traveling tweetup to showcase the type of service you get with Blackline.”
Forty guests are able to attend the Tweetup, D’Attillio said. The TweetUp will start at Mindspike Design offices, 306 N Milwaukee St. in the Third Ward at 5 p.m. Guests will be transported by limo bus to Stubby’s Pub & Grub, for complimentary food and drinks and will get back on the bus and end the night at Rustico for more complimentary food, she said.
“So far I think Blackline is pretty happy with the event,” she said. “If everything goes well we hope to host more events like this in the future.”
Seats for the Traveling Tweetup were given away using random selection of people who followed Blackline Limos and tweeted the phrase, “I want to win a seat on the @blacklinelimos #travelingtweetup limo bus!” Winners each received two tickets for the event, D’Attillio said.
