Milwaukee hotel to be sold at auction

Hilco Real Estate, LLC plans to sell the Milwaukee Airport Inn at a public auction live and online on March 13 at the property, 1716 W. Layton Ave.

Registration will start at noon, and the auction will commence at 1 p.m.

The fully-operating, 96-room hotel is located in the Gateway to Milwaukee, near Interstate 94 at the recently completed Layton Avenue diamond interchange.

The hotel is being offered with a suggested opening bid of $949,000.

The hotel includes interior corridors, a fitness room, a business center, ample parking and an attached leased restaurant.

Interested buyers can view the properties by attending on-site inspections scheduled on Thursdays, Feb. 20, Feb. 27 and March 6t at 1 p.m., by appointment only.

Jeff Azuse, senior vice president of Hilco Real Estate, said, “This auction is an exceptional opportunity for hotel owner/operators and investors to name their price on a turnkey operation that offers almost immediate proximity to all the area’s major traffic generators. Combine that with the assumable SBA loan at very attractive terms, and you have an investment with great upside potential.”
