The Democratic Party of Wisconsin said this afternoon they will unveil Friday a “significant Republican Party official” who will announce he is switching parties because of the “Republican Party’s move to more extreme slogans that don’t offer any solutions for working families in Wisconsin.”
Democratic Party spokesman Brandon Lorenz declined to identify the person who is switching parties.
The mystery party member will be unveiled with state Rep. Jon Richards (D-Milwaukee) and Democratic Party of Wisconsin membership director Sean Berger Friday at the Organizing for America Office, 316 N. Milwaukee St., Suite 440, in Milwaukee at 9:15 a.m.
