Milwaukee Ballet launches fundraising campaign at local bars

The Milwaukee Ballet will kick off its "Ballet up to the Bar and Drink for Pink" campaign on Saturday.
The event will kick off Saturday and run through Saturday, July 24. Guests can order “ballet-inspired” drinks at participating organizations and have a portion of the proceeds support the Milwaukee Ballet, and the Milwaukee Ballet School and its education and community outreach programs.
Participating organizations include Bacchus, Charro, Cuvée, Hi Hat Garage, Hotel Metro Bar, Milwaukee Yacht Club, Moct, Y-Not II, Cafe Centraal, Cafe Hollander, and Tracadero Gastrobar.
Y-Not II and Charro have already announced their specialty drinks. Y-Nott II will offer their “Hurricane” as a specialty drink for Milwaukee Ballet and Charro will serve a refreshing “Pink Margarita” in honor of Milwaukee Ballet’s Artistic Director Michael Pink.
An official kick off party will be held on Saturday, June 19 from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m. at Cuvee, 177 N. Broadway St. A $10 donation is suggested at the door.
Additional locations will also be added and listed on www.milwaukeeballet.org.
