Miller Lite to offer free rides on New Years Eve

Organizations:

Miller Lite, in partnership with Beer Capitol, Inc., Milwaukee County Transit System and Waukesha Metro Transit will again offer it’s signature free bus service on New Year’s Eve. This is the 24th year of the Miller Lite free ride which helps party goers not drive under the influence.
“The holidays are a time for tradition and celebration, and we hope that people who choose to celebrate the New Year with our great beers will also choose to be responsible and plan ahead for a safe ride home,” said Diane Wagner, alcohol responsibility manager for MillerCoors. “Drunk driving is completely preventable, and we encourage residents and visitors to make a tradition of responsibility with the help of Miller Lite Free Rides.”
The program is strongly supported by state and local law enforcement as well MillerCoors restaurant partners. Guests who take a Free Ride will receive a “Restaurants Rewarding Responsibility” coupon for participating area restaurants, including Applebee’s, Champps, Chili’s and Flannery’s.
Rides will run from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. in Milwaukee and 7 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. in Waukesha. For routes and schedule information visit www.MillerLiteFreeRides.com or text FREERIDES to 90464.
