Lemberg Electric acquires Good Electric
Lemberg Electric Company Inc., an employee-owned electrical construction company in Brookfield, has acquired Waukesha-based Good Electric Inc.
Good Electric specializes in commercial electrical construction and service with a history that dates back to 1929.
“Good Electric is best known for its capabilities and reliable service. We are very proud to carry on this great tradition and will continue to provide high levels of service Good Electric provided to their customers. That is how we built our business. We’re also committed to the employees and their families and welcome them to the Lemberg family,” said Dave Washebek, president and chief executive officer at Lemberg.
Lemberg’s strategic planning recognized the need to strengthen and broaden its position in the Milwaukee marketplace, Washebek said.
The acquisition comes a year after Lemberg purchased SoLite Neon Sign Company, a full-service sign company, further expanding Lemberg’s Sign & Lighting division.
“I have been working on a succession plan for the last few years and I’ve had the opportunity several times to sell the company. After much consideration, I have decided to sell Good Electric to a truly outstanding competitor, Lemberg Electric Company Inc. I felt they best shared Good Electric’s passion for the industry and core values”, said Gregg Eisenhardt, owner and president of Good Electric.
