Mayville Engineering Company Inc. (MEC) today announced a multi-million dollar expansion at its Wisconsin manufacturing facilities to support significant growth in early 2014.

MEC is adding state-of-the-art robotic welding, machining and other manufacturing equipment to keep up with a large increase in orders from leading customers in the agricultural, construction, power sports and mining markets.

“We’re very excited to see this continued strong growth and to create some excellent job opportunities in our Wisconsin communities,” said Cliff Sanderson, vice president of human resources at MEC.  “As a 100 percent employee-owned company, our folks are vested in the success of the company. It’s a unique place and we’re looking for more great MEC people to join our employee shareholder team.”

“This is an excellent opportunity for folks that are looking for an exciting new career at an employee-owned company to visit us and learn about what we have to offer and it also provides us the opportunity to meet them.  We need to find the right people to fill these important roles who can thrive in our environment,” said Eric Welak, vice president of operations.  “Applicants will have the chance to meet directly with hiring managers and we’ll also have Mayville high school’s latest Project Grill on-site serving brats and hamburgers to those interested in positions with MEC.
