Lippmann-Milwaukee Inc. has named James Mehail vice president of engineering. Lippmann-Milwaukee is a manufacturer of crushing and screening machinery used in the aggregate processing, recycle, crushing and mining industries.

Mehail worked previously at Hamilton Sundstrand Aerospace, where he was in charge of weight reduction associated with design power density optimization efforts for the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Bombardier CSeries regional jet programs. Prior to that, Mehail was employed at Astronautics Corporation of America – Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he was responsible for working with a team of production, systems hardware, and software engineers as Assistant to the Airbus A400 M Program Manager.  He was also an Engineering Hardware and Software Project Engineer for the Airbus.

Wayne Johnson has been appointed Harbor Master by the Board of Harbor Commissioners. Johnson has served as interim Harbor Master since the sudden passing of previous Harbor Master Joseph DiGiorgio in March. He was previously the Port’s facilities supervisor, and has worked in the Port since 1979.
