Manufacturers invited to Lean Six Sigma course

Organizations:

The Six Sigma Continuous Quality Improvement Initiative aims to reduce variability and errors in the manufacturing process while reducing waste and improving output quality.
Waukesha County Technical College is offering a free Lean Six Sigma course that will suggest shifting company culture to focus on quality improvement measures using a core group of skilled employees.
Of the 250 Milwaukee employees who participated in WCTC’s Six Sigma training last year, the group has produced 55 Green Belt projects for a cost savings of almost $2 million.
The free course includes breakfast and will be held July 22 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the WCTC Pewaukee campus. For more information or to register, visit www.wctc.edu/cctbreakfast. Register by July 15.
