Manufacturer of the Year award winners named

The 23rd annual Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Award has honored seven state companies, including three that are based in metro Milwaukee. The winners were celebrated at a black tie event last week at Milwaukee’s Pfister Hotel.

This year’s winners include:

  • Large category: Dickten Masch Plastics, Nashotah

  • Medium  category: Briess Industries Inc., Chilton
  • Small category: Hydro-Thermal Corp., Pewaukee
  • Team Commitment to the Community: Atlas Resin Proppants, Taylor
  • Local to Global Commitment:” HWD Acquisition (Hurd Windows & Doors)
  • Customer Commitment: Plexus Corp., Neenah
  • Lifetime Achievement: James Haney, president and CEO, Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce

The Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year award winners were selected by an independent panel of judges representing industry, education, and the public sector.

“These seven companies represent the best of the best of Wisconsin’s manufacturers,” said Tod Linstroth, Senior Partner of Michael Best & Friedrich LLP and a member of the firm’s management committee. “The world-class innovation and advancements that come from companies in our backyard are second to none.”
