Lumin Medical LLC, a Franklin-based health care information technology provider, announced today it has purchased the assets of PatientTrak of Batavia, Ill.
PatientTrak is a provider of on-demand patient tracking solutions. Its headquarters will be moved to Lumin’s office at 7441 S. 27th St.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
“Our name is Lumin which means light and our mission is to provide visibility for the healthcare industry to improve patient satisfaction, increase efficiencies and reduce costs,” said James Hermann, president of Lumin Medical. “PatientTrak is a growing company that melds perfectly with that focus.”
PatientTrak’s cloud-based software solutions is designed to improve patients’ experience and enable health care providers to reduce wait times and costs.
The web-based PatientTrak system is scalable and is being used in health care settings ranging from individual medical practices all the way up to the country’s largest health systems.
The management and ownership team of PatientTrak will be retained, as will the company’s brand name.
