As we head into a new year, the world and economy is full of uncertainty. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, an extremely tight labor market, supply-chain issues, inflation, and a mid-term election year are all factors that could affect the economy in 2022.
How will it all play out and how can business leaders best prepare for what lies ahead in the new year? BizTimes Media’s annual Economic Trends Event will once again provide a panel of industry experts to share their insights.

Michael Knetter, economist and president and CEO of the University of Wisconsin Foundation, will return to the Economic Trends Event to present his annual macroeconomic outlook.
Other speakers will include:
- Jonas Prising, chairman and CEO of Milwaukee-based staffing firm ManpowerGroup, which ranked #165 on the 2021 Fortune 500 list.
- Sandi Siegel, president of Milwaukee-based logistics firm M.E. Dey & Co.
- Tina Chang, CEO of Brookfield-based IT firm SysLogic.
