Kapco Inc., of Grafton, will host its second annual Grand Slam Charity event on Saturday

Kapco Inc., of Grafton, will host its second annual Grand Slam Charity event tomorrow. More than 400 people are expected to come to Potawatomi Bingo and Casino’s Expo Center and Northern Lights Theater to see headliner Smash Mouth and other celebrities to help raise funds for charity.
In addition to Smash Mouth, the event will feature appearances by Debbie Gibson, currently starring on NBC Celebrity Apprentice, Naima of American Idol,  Trista & Ryan from ABC’s The Bachelorette, Broadway Star and former Miss America Kate Shindle, LeRoy Butler and other Green Bay Packer players.
Tickets range from $25 to $500. All proceeds from the event will benefit Hometown Heroes and other vital charities. Upon checkout, guests can select the name of any charity to receive a portion of the ticket sales after the event.  Last year, the event raised more than $100,000 for organizations in the Milwaukee area. 

Other celebrities include jazz singer Adekola Adedopa, nashville singer/songwriter, Erica Hoyt, fast rising singer/songerwriter and Wisconsin native, Grace Weber, Milwaukee Brewer great, Larry Hisle, Mark Metcalf of Animal House and Seinfeld. Local celebrities include Tom Pipines, Molly Fay, Tiffany Ogle, Keith Tozer and Shelly Bertholf
Named charities will receive 50 percent of all ticket proceeds for the dinner and after party event and 100 percent of ticket proceeds for the concert portion, Willenson said. For tickets or more information visit www.grandslamcharityjam.org.
