  • Friday, Dec. 9 through Sunday, Dec.11 The Pabst Mansion, 2000 W. Wisconsin Ave., will host it’s annual holiday Dickens Dinner. The event will feature the decorated Pabst Mansion. Cost to attend is $89 for adults or $45 for children.
  • Saturday, Dec. 10 Carols @ the Lake- 10th Year, a free concert series by the Florentine Opera Company will be held at Alterra Humboldt at 11 a.m. and again at Alterra Shorewood at 1:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, Dec. 11 Sprecher Brewery will host the Fifth Annual Soda With Santa event. Attendees can tour the Brewery, visit with Santa and have their photo taken with Santa to put on customized bottles of Sprecher Root Beer. Santa will greet his fans when the Sprecher Gift Shop opens at 11am. Brewery tours will be given on the hour, 12pm-3pm. Plan to arrive 45 minutes early so you have time for pictures and visiting with Santa. Charge: $5 Adults, $4 Seniors, includes tour, commemorative glass, beer and soda samples, visit and photo with Santa; $3 Minors, includes tour, soda samples, visit and photo with Santa. U.S. Military personnel with valid ID are free.Your personalized Sprecher Root Beer will be ready to take with you when you leave the
    brewery. Charge : $2 per bottle, minimum 12 bottle order. This year there will be two new design options to choose from.   • Saturday, Dec. 10 and Sunday, Dec. 11 Rummage-A-Rama will be held at the State Fair Park Wisconsin Products Pavilion from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The Salvation Army will also benefit directly from the success of the Rummage-A-Rama! Christmas Show this weekend. Customers are encouraged to toss donations into the Giant Red Kettle and will receive complimentary hot chocolate and candy canes from Salvation Army volunteers during the show on Sunday. Admission to Rummage-A-Rama is $4 per person, but patrons who bring a donation of two non-perishable food items for Hunger Task Force get in for $2. Since its return in 2009, Rummage-A-Rama! has collected 50,000 pounds of food through this promotion. As always, kids age 12 and under attend Rummage-A-Rama! for free. Free parking is available for all Rummage-A-Rama customers in the North Lot by the Pettit National Ice Center via Gate 6; however, it requires an uphill walk to the Wisconsin Products Pavilion. Preferred parking is available within the park for a $5 fee, regulated by Imperial Parking, by entering Gate 5 off 84th Street.
