Johnson Controls names new COO

Milwaukee-based Johnson Controls names Brian Kesseler to the newly created position of chief operating officer for the company’s Power Solutions business.

Kesseler joined the company in 1994, most recently serving as vice president and general manager, Service-North America, Systems and Services Europe, and Unitary Products Group for the company’s Building Efficiency business.
“Brian has played a major role in driving business growth, continuous improvement, quality, and customer satisfaction at all three of Johnson Controls business units – Automotive Experience, Building Efficiency and Power Solutions,” said Alex Molinaroli, president, Johnson Controls Power Solutions. “As we continue to further expand into emerging markets, and as we integrate more thoroughly across the automotive battery technology spectrum, Brian’s experience will be integral to our continued success in achieving customer satisfaction and delivering shareholder value.”
As COO, Kesseler will be responsible for the operating businesses within Power Solutions, as well as the Continuous Improvement, Business Process, and Quality functions.
