Weekly cardio and strength training

Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life?
It provides and alternative recreation activity, it increases my ability to compete in other sports events, it allows me to act a a role model to my children
How does personal fitness affect your work life?
It increases my daily endurance, it gives me a chance to interact with other employees that I workout with. Working out has become the norm within the firm.

Yes
What health/wellness organizations do you contract with, if any?
none
How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?
Hopefully it reduces the need for medical expenses, on average, thereby reducing our insurance premiums, and reducing sick days. Also, we look beyond our organization and hope that it increases the physical fitness and promotes a healthy lifestyle among our employeees as individuals and their families
What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?
The best time to start is now. Don’t be concerned that you have a long way to go to get to where you want to be, so did everyone else.
