Milwaukee-based residential real estate development firm Dominion Properties is building a 20-unit, four-story apartment building at 1509 N. Jackson St., on Milwaukee’s East Side.
The project, called Sage On Jackson, is expected to be complete in August of 2014. The project has numerous sustainable elements including a geothermal HVAC system, a solar photovoltaic system, a green roof and rain water recycling, and is being built at a preliminary LEED platinum certification level. The project was designed by Striegel-Agacki Studio and Engberg Anderson. “Sage on Jackson will be home to residents who truly care about the future of our planet, residents who want to make a positive impact on the way they live in their community,” said Mike O’Connor, principal and co-owner of Dominion Properties.
