The parking lot at Miller Park will open to tailgaters at noon today, as Milwaukee begins to celebrate its annual Opening Day ritual.
The festivities will lead up to a 3:10 p.m. starting time for the Milwaukee Brewers’ home opener against the rival St. Louis Cardinals.
The game marks the beginning of the Brewers’ defense of the National League Central Division title.
Today’s game is sold out, and large crowds also are expected for the games on Saturday and Sunday.
Fans are encouraged to leave early for the games, due to the large crowds and the restricted lanes amid the road construction along Interstate 94.
