Zywave Inc., a Wauwatosa-based firm that develops software for insurance brokers and financial planners, is expanding again. The firm is increasing its office space at the Mayfair Woods building, located at 10700 W. Research Dr., from 35,673 square feet of 59,828 square feet of office space.
This is the company’s third expansion in the building in the last year. Zywave is expanding into the garden (lower) level of the building.
“We are pretty much bursting at the seams,” said Zywave spokeswoman Jackie Steinmetz. “Every desk is full.”
Zywave has 310 employees in the building and has 55 open positions, she said.
“We’re adding jobs,” Steinmetz said. “As those fill we will continue to add more.”
To accommodate Zywave’s growth, Irgens, the development firm that owns the building, recently moved its corporate headquarters out of that space to its Woodlake III building at 10200 Innovation Dr., Wauwatosa.
“We are excited about our continued growth and that we’ve been able to expand operations in our corporate headquarters,” said Joe Gibson, chief financial officer of Zywave. “Irgens continues to be flexible in working with us to meet our increasing space needs.”
Once the build-out is complete for Zywave’s expansion the company will occupy 36 percent of the 163,350-square-foot Mayfair Woods building.
Both the Mayfair Woods building and the Woodlake III building are located in the Milwaukee County Research Park.
