Waukesha-based InvestorsBank is notifying customers and other stakeholders that its shareholders have approved the sale of the bank to American Bank of Fond du Lac.
Stakeholders and other interested parties, including BizTimes, were notified on telephone by a robocall, stating that the transaction will be outlined today in a web seminar conference call at 4 p.m.
InvestorsBank is based at W239 N1700 Busse Road in Waukesha. Its chief executive officer is Richard Hensley. The bank was established in 1997 as a privately held commercial bank.
American Bank was founded in 1968 by a group of seven Fond du Lac businessmen who served as the original board of directors. According to its web site, it has more than $220 million in assets and five offices serving Fond du Lac, Dodge, Green Lake and Winnebago Counties.
American Bank is currently led by president James Chatterton.
