Sheboygan-based HSA Bank announced today it is expanding its office at Schlitz Park near downtown Milwaukee.

The bank, a division of Waterbury, Connecticut-based Webster Bank N.A. focused on health savings accounts, currently occupies 57,517 square feet on the second floor of Schlitz Park’s RiverCenter building, 1515 N. RiverCenter Drive. HSA plans to add another 10,725 square feet to its office. The company is expected to move into the expanded space this summer.

HSA Bank, which initially moved in to a 16,000-square-foot space at Schlitz Park in 2014, said this most recent expansion is driven by the expansion of its employee count in the Milwaukee market. It has nearly tripled its Milwaukee employees, to 335, over the past four years.

Ned Purtell and Jenna Maguire of Founders 3 Real Estate Services represented Schlitz Park, and Drew Saunders and Dan Jessup of JLL represented HSA Bank in the lease negotiation.

“The expansion of our Milwaukee office showcases our commitment to continued growth in the consumer-directed health care space,” said Chad Wilkins, executive vice president at Webster Bank and president of HSA Bank. “The new space will enable team members to better support our 2.6 million members nationwide.”

“It’s been exciting to watch the success of HSA Bank in downtown Milwaukee and welcome their growing number of employees to Schlitz Park,” said Gary Grunau, co-developer of Schlitz Park. “Success stories like HSA Bank’s is why Schlitz Park has invested millions of dollars in our facilities, outdoor spaces and amenities.”
