South side residents who use Interstate 794 to get downtown will have their commute disrupted starting this fall.
The $278 million reconstruction of the Hoan Bridge will begin this fall.
Work is scheduled to continue until 2016.
The plans for I-794 and the Hoan Bridge will be on display at a public meeting set for Wednesday, April 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. on the second floor of the Milwaukee Public Market, 400 N. Water St.
The open house-style meeting will allow attendees to ask questions of the project team and provide input.
