H&M store to open at Southridge

H&M, Hennes & Mauritz, an international retailer known for fashion-forward apparel and quality basics, will open a new store at Southridge Mall in Greendale on Thursday, Oct. 27.

“H&M is delighted to be adding to its presence in the Midwestern region” says Daniel Kulle, U.S. president for H&M, which is based in Sweden. “We have always been devoted to expanding our stores in the best new locations throughout the United States. The grand opening of H&M at Southridge Mall will undeniably be a great addition to Milwaukee as well as the Midwest.”

H&M will celebrate the grand opening by partnering with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee.

The addition of the H&M store is one of several changes that are coming to Southridge Mall. The mall’s owner, Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group is working on a massive renovation project for the mall and plans to bring in several new tenants. A new Macy’s department store is expected to move into the former Younker’s store space at the south end of the mall next year. Also The Bon-Ton Stores Inc. will renovate its Boston Store at the mall.
