Dustin Hinton has been hired as the new president and chief executive officer of UnitedHealthcare of Wisconsin and Michigan.
Prior to accepting this new role, Hinton served as UnitedHealthcare of Wisconsin’s vice president of account management for customers with 100+ employees, helping lead the plan to top honors as the highest-performing health plan in the company in 2012.
He began his career with UnitedHealthcare in 1994 on the underwriting team for the Chicago market.
Hinton succeeds Wendy Arnone, who was recently promoted to CEO of the West Region, where UnitedHealthcare serves more than 4.7 million people in an area comprised of 13 states.
UnitedHealthcare, one of the businesses of UnitedHealth Group serves 1.4 million people in Wisconsin. Its Wisconsin office is located in Wauwatosa.
