Gorman & Co. Inc. is moving forward with plans to renovate the 102-year-old Heritage House Inn building in Kenosha into an 80-room boutique hotel.

The dilapidated, 35,000-square-foot Heritage House building will undergo a complete makeover, which will also include a new addition. Features will include a pub-style restaurant, a rooftop bar, and a 4,000-square-foot banquet hall and ballroom.

Construction is expected to be complete in early 2019. The hotel is expected to employ up to 75 people.
