Hamerlik will be next CEO at WPS Insurance

Wisconsin Physicians Insurance Corp. (WPS) announced today it has hired Michael Hamerlik to be the Madison-based company’s next president and chief executive officer.

Hamerlik will succeed Jim Riordan, who will retire. Hamerlik’s appointment will take effect June 11.
Hamerlik has 27 years of experience in the health insurance industry. Most recently, he has served as president and CEO of Noridian Administrative Services LLC. He previously was executive vice president at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota.
