The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panther Advocates will host gubernatorial candidates Tom Barrett, Mark Neumann and Scott Walker in three separate “Fireside Chats,” where they will discuss their campaign platforms and plans for Wisconsin.
The events are free and open to the public.
The sessions will feature a presentation by the scheduled gubernatorial candidate and a question-and-answer session moderated by UWM political science professor and chair Marcus Ethridge.
Bringing the three candidates to the university’s Alumni Fireside Lounge will allow them to discuss matters of higher education and other priorities with UWM students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community in a nonpartisan setting.
The schedule for the sessions includes: Republican Mark Neumann, Monday, April 5, noon to 1 p.m.; Republican Scott Walker, Tuesday, April 6, noon to 1 p.m.; and Democrat Tom Barrett, Monday, May 3, noon to 1 p.m.
