The 61,910-square-foot building was built by Menomonee Falls-based Continental Properties Company Inc. in 1999 on a 7.5-acre lot. The Jewel-Osco store closed in 2007. It was replaced by a Sentry store, which closed in 2008. The building has been vacant ever since.

An online auction was held for the building in May 2015. At that time the starting bid was $1.25 million.

The two-day auction will be held at www.ten-x.com.
