One of Actuant Corp.’s former warehouses is being sold in an online auction with a starting bid of $350,000.

A 42,217-industrial warehouse and a 1-acre lot at 6151 N. Baker Road and 2101 N. Bender Road, Glendale, will be sold in a two-day auction beginning May 2. The building is currently 100 percent occupied and leased to Ascent Battery Supply, a subsidiary of Hartland-based Batteries Plus.

Batteries Plus is using the building for warehousing and distribution, which is the same thing Actuant used it for.

Actuant Corp. is a $1.2 billion diversified industrial company that has operations in 30 countries.

In May 2011, Actuant Corp. moved to an 81,000-square-foot corporate headquarters office building at N86 W12500 Westbrook Crossing in Menomonee Falls from 13000 W. Silver Spring Drive, Butler.

The company’s electrical division moved in July of 2010, from Glendale, to a 312,000-square-foot facility across the parking lot from the headquarters.

The auction will be held at www.ten-x.com.
