Brookfield-based Fiserv Inc. has named Marc West president of its Digital Channels division.
West will oversee the financial services technology provider’s strategy, product management and marketing for several digital banking solutions, including Corillian Online banking and Mobiliti mobile banking.
Prior to this role, West served as senior vice president of banking and aggregation for Electronic Payments, where he oversaw development of money movement products like Popmoney, the person-to-person payment service.
West joined Fiserv in 2013. He previously served as president and chief executive officer of Mamasource, an e-commerce platform for mothers. West also previously worked as managing director of e-business at Barclays Global Investors and has held senior leadership positions at Electronic Arts and H&R Block. He holds a master’s from Golden Gate University and a bachelor’s from the University of Maryland.
“As online, mobile and tablet banking have emerged as the preferred ways, and, in many cases, the only ways, consumers manage their financial lives, digital banking services have become mission critical for financial institutions,” said Kevin Schultz, group president, Payments and Channels. “Marc’s experience in both consumer and financial services businesses will be instrumental as we continue to deliver solutions that enable our financial institution clients to provide the distinctive digital banking experiences consumers value.”
