What does your daily or weekly fitness regime consist of?
"I try to get to the gym three to four days a week, I lift two body parts a day, aroebics and abs every visit."
Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life?
"It is a way of life, I been lifting weights for the past thirty years, just the day to day activities of my job and life style are made easier, I work 12-13 hours a day,and enjoy hunting and sports on the weekend, this wouldn’t be possible without being in top shape for my age."
How does personal fitness affect your work life?
"I think the confidence and discipline it exudes to my clients, prospective customers and employees is very inportant, I feel there is a big difference between some one walking in to a room all fat and sloppy or someone who walks in, in good shape and taking care of him or herself, they both convey different life styles and discipline."
Do you have a corporate health or wellness initiative?
How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization?
"We have a roof consulting and service business, some days it is very hard physical work so it pays to be in good shape."
What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative?
"They need to just get started and make it a change in lifestyle, a new way of life.The sooner the better."
