UMB Fund Services recently hired Bob Tuszynski as senior vice president and director of distribution services. Tuszynski will manage Total Distributions, a new and unique distribution services product offered by UMBFS. Announced earlier this year, the product can provide UMBFS clients with a clear, concise picture of their most profitable financial intermediaries and ideal prospects. "We are fortunate to have someone with Bob’s experience and expertise to head up this important area," said John Zader, CEO for UMBFS. "Our clients will benefit from his ability to identify sales and marketing opportunities to help them grow assets under management." UMB Fund Services (UMBFS), is the Milwaukee-based division of UMB Financial Corp. It occupies about 72,000 square feet at 803 W. Michigan St., where it employs more than 160 workers.

Kevin M. Flaherty of Associated Commercial Finance, Inc., was recently named to the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority by Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle. Flaherty, a vice president and relationship manager with ACFI, will fill a vacancy on the seven-member board through 2010. The Wisconsin Health and Educational Facilities Authority assists Wisconsin health care and educational institutions with obtaining and maintaining access to the broadest range of low-cost, private capital market financing available. "I am pleased to be able to offer my expertise in complex lending solutions and assist WHEFA in advancing its important mission," said Flaherty, who is based in Brookfield. Flaherty joined Associated Commercial Finance in 2002, where he manages commercial finance relationships and provides asset-based lending services. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and attended the American Institute of Banking in Milwaukee. Associated Commercial Finance, Inc., is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Associated Banc-Corp.

Landmark Credit Union recently hired Kent Eliason as vice president and manager of Landmark’s Business Department. He is located in Landmark’s New Berlin administrative headquarters at 2775 S. Moorland Road.

Securant Bank & Trust has hired Sandy Winkler as a loan services support processor. Winkler has served in the financial industry for 15 years and most recently as a commercial loan processor for a national bank. Winkler will be located at the Milwaukee office of Securant Bank & Trust. 

First Wisconsin Bank & Trust has announced that it has hired the following individuals at their corporate offices in Brookfield: Janice Cardinal, consumer loan administrator; Amy Lynch, commercial operations specialist; Jessica Hernandez, private banking operations specialist; Maggie Marich, private banking account executive; Cheri Bradish, commercial loan administrator; Dan Bushnel, commercial client services; Courtney Knutson, commercial client services. 

M&I Wealth Management recently hired John P. Larson as vice president, portfolio management. Larson is responsible for managing portfolios for high net worth individuals and families. He previously served as senior investment manager for Wells Fargo.

M&I Wealth Management also recently appointed Gayle Robinson as senior vice president and chief legal counsel. Robinson will report to Ken Krei, senior vice president of Marshall & Ilsley Corp. and CEO of M&I Wealth Management.

M&I Financial Advisors has promoted Aaron V. Cross to vice president. Cross serves as a senior financial advisor and has been with M&I since 2003.
