Associated Bank recently hired Derek Smith as its commercial banking portfolio manager. Smith is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with commercial clients in the Milwaukee metro area. He comes to Associated from TCF Bank, where he served as a commercial banker and small business loan officer, as well as a senior middle-market underwriter.
Komisar Brady & Co. LLP, a Milwaukee-based CPA firm, recently hired Bob Koehne as director of administration; and Nicole Anderson, Evan Ott, and Adam Smith as staff accountants.
Ann Rieger will be the next president of the Davis & Kuelthau S.C. law firm, effective Oct. 1. Rieger, who is a shareholder in the company’s Brookfield office, will be the first female president of the firm. She will succeed Jim Braza, who held the position of president for three years. Braza will hand over the reigns to Rieger and return to his full-time practice in litigation. Rieger will be managing attorneys and offices throughout the state, including offices located in the Green Bay, Milwaukee, Madison, Brookfield, Sheboygan and Oshkosh. Rieger focuses her practice in corporate law, nonprofit law, estate planning and health law. She offers assistance to nonprofit and for-profit business entities.
