What does your daily or weekly fitness regime consist of? Workouts include running 3-4 times per week, biking 12 miles to or from work once a week,or cross training at the Wisconsin Athletic Club 1-2 times per week.
What fitness clubs do you belong to, if any? Wisconsin Athletic Club
Other than the obvious health benefits, how has being fit improved your life? I am more centered and calmer overall. I am also able to participate in relays, triathlons, races with a new level of competitiveness.
How does personal fitness affect your work life? Personal fitness allows me to be more balanced.
How does fitness or wellness affect your overall organization? Fit employees are happier employees.
What advice do you have for other executives interested in starting either a personal fitness plan or corporate wellness initiative? Just do it! Start small, ask for help. I find accountability helps immensely with both diet and exercise.
