WHAT HAS FUELED YOUR COMPANY’S GROWTH? Encompass’ ongoing commitment to medical record security as well as providing timely and accurate medical transcription services have earned us respect and trust in the medical field. By also staying ahead of and utilizing new technologies, such as voice recognition, this has allowed us to extend our services and capitalize in new ways. Encompass has an energetic leadership team who is devoted to making Encompass a leader in medical record documentation.
DO YOU PLAN ANY CHANGES IN YOUR COMPANY IN THE UPCOMING MONTHS? We are continuing our company growth by continuously adding new staff and clients. We are also developing a new marketing strategy in the fall of 2006. In addition, Encompass will be partnering with MTIA and AAMT and assisting in launching the U.S. Department of Labor’s new Medical Transcription Apprenticeship program. This is a very exciting venture for our industry and we are privileged to be affiliated with the program. We look forward to working with both local, as well as other technical colleges across the nation, to promote this
new apprenticeship program.
WHO ARE THE BUSINESS PEOPLE, LOCALLY OR NATIONALLY, WHOM YOU ADMIRE? AND WHAT TRAITS DO THOSE PEOPLE EXHIBIT THAT MAKE YOU ADMIRE THEM? I admire other women business owners and women leaders of all professions. Successful women are forced to have extreme dedication and perseverance, which plays a key role in one’s success. It is my opinion that the definition of success can be as simple as making a difference in another person’s life, whether it is on a personal level or in a business endeavor. I have had several optimistic and dedicated people make a difference in my life, some acting as mentors, others simply being a supporting force when needed. People who are dedicated to helping others reach their aspirations are the type of people whom I admire.
WHAT IS THE OUTLOOK FOR THE BUSINESS CONDITIONS OF YOUR INDUSTRY OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL MONTHS? Medical transcription continues to be a stable industry. As more and more health care facilities transition to an electronic health record system, the need for quick turnaround times of medical dictation and accurate patient documentation continues to increase.
Congratulations from these strategic partners:
