Elite Sports Clubs, which has four sports and fitness facilities in the Milwaukee area, plans to purchase Le Club, located at 2001 W. Good Hope Road in Glendale, from Dallas-based ClubCorp.

“We take tennis clubs and convert them to multi-purpose health clubs. We have tennis, racquetball, volleyball, basketball. We really are a sports club for the entire family,” said Kay Yuspeh, chief executive officer and president of Elite Sports Clubs. “Le Club is already a multi-purpose health club and would fit in with our facilities and what we do. Le Club would be a great compliment to what we are doing.”
The acquisition of Le Club is expected to close by the end of the month, Yuspeh said. She declined to disclose the terms of the deal.
Business for Elite Sports Clubs, which currently has two locations in Brookfield and locations in Mequon and Glendale, is “very good” right now, Yuspeh said.
“People are taking their health seriously and are taking advantage of what we offer,” she said.
