Downtown Dining Week offers meal deals for next eight days

Downtown Dining Week’s eight-day stretch of deals begins today with 46 participating restaurants that will offer patrons discounts on both lunch and dinner menus.

The dining extravaganza, which turns 10 years old this year, invites Milwaukee food lovers to explore the city’s cuisine scene and try out venues they might otherwise not.

Restaurants’ lunch menus feature three-course options for $12.50 while dinners are served for $25 or $35.

Among restaurants partaking in the 2015 food fest are Ale Asylum Riverhouse, Benihana, Carnevor, Coquette Café, Kanpai, Louise’s, Onesto, The Pub Club, and The Rumpus Room.

The full restaurant lineup, accessible at www.milwaukeedowntown.com/diningweek, includes eateries of a variety of cultures and price points.

The week is open to the general public. Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21, which organizes the large-scale event, recommends patrons make reservations.

Along with offering dining deals to the city, Milwaukee Downtown will award each of four diners $550 in dining certificates. Winners will be pulled from a pool of Downtown Dining Week survey participants. The online survey asks diners for feedback on their dining experiences during the week.

Coinciding with Downtown Dining Week is the Downtown Diggs Condo Open House, presented by Milwaukee Downtown and the Greater Milwaukee Association of REALTORS. The open house will run on Saturday, June 6, from noon to 4 p.m. as a way to highlight downtown condominiums currently available. More information can be found at www.gmar.ws.
