Organizations:

The Milwaukee Jewish Day School has announced that an anonymous donor has made a sizeable donation to the school through the Building Our Future grant program.

The new program will allow students entering grades 1 through 7 during the 2012-2013 school year to have their entire first year tuition completely subsidized. Students will also receive tuition grants to help offset tuition in future years at the school All other students, both current and new are eligible for grants to help make tuition more accessible and affordable.
“We are tremendously excited by the opportunity this program presents, not only for individual students and their families, but for the school,” said Brian King head of the school. “The program provides MJDS with a rock-solid foundation as we build for the future, enabling us to make our exceptional education even better by enhancing recruitment and retention, enriching the size and vibrancy of classrooms and serving as a springboard for future community investment in the school.”
The “Building Our Future” Grant Program is being provided independent of financial need and can be combined with existing financial assistance programs.
“At MJDS, we value our rigorous academic programs, superior faculty and our commitment to instilling strong Jewish values in our students,” said King. ”It is encouraging and humbling that this local donor believes so deeply in the value of MJDS that the individual is making an extraordinary investment in our students and our school.”
