WUWM moving to Chase Tower
WUWM 89.7 FM plans to move from the Plankinton Building at 161 W. Wisconsin Ave. in downtown Milwaukee a block east to the Chase Tower at 111 E. Wisconsin Ave.
This week a message on the message board on top of the Chase Tower "welcomed" WUWM to the building and a real estate industry source confirmed that the public radio station will move to the building. A representative for WUWM did not return a phone call seeking comment and Timothy Hale, the manager of the Chase Tower, declined to comment. According to NAI MLG Commercial’s first quarter 2009 office market forecast, WUWM was soliciting proposals for 20,000 square feet of office space.

The 22-story Chase Tower is owned by BREOF BNK Midwest LLC.
